Know Your Enemy: Oregon

The wait is finally over.

Michigan State football traveled to the Pacific coast on Thursday for the first time since their Rose Bowl win in January. Tomorrow, the Spartans will be set to play in the biggest non-conference game in recent memory, but who exactly will they be playing?

Try not to be blinded by their bright, flashy jerseys.

Oregon seems to wear a different color uniform every week. Most college football fans know that Oregon is famous for its cool jerseys. Phil Knight, co-founder of Nike, is an alumnus of UO, and Nike has been providing the Ducks with their innovating wardrobe since 1996.

Oh, yeah. They play football, too.

Oregon is known for fast-paced, high-scoring, offensive-minded football. In 2013, they averaged 62 points per game. Here is some basic need-to-know information about MSU’s next opponent.
