MSU on the Road to Wisconsin

The Lady Spartans played in their annual pink game for breast cancer awareness Saturday night. After coming off a dominating win against Ohio State, 70-49, No. 23 Michigan State (17-8, 9-3) heads to Madison, Wis. to play Wisconsin (10-15, 3-10).

There are only two weeks left in the Big Ten regular season, before the Big Ten Tournament. Currently the MSU women’s basketball team is tied for second with Nebraska at 9-3, with only four games left to play. Penn State leads the Big Ten with an 11-2 conference record.

As shown in previous games, MSU plays some of their best basketball on the road. Along with having a great road record, they have had great wins against the Badgers in the past.

In the last meeting between the two teams, on Jan. 30, the Spartans took on the Badgers at home and won 71-67. The Spartans have won five-straight games against the Badgers.

Wisconsin has lost four-straight games and is 11th in the Big Ten.

The game will take place Thursday, Feb. 20 at 9 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
