This week on The Undercurrent, host Cole Tunningley gives an extremely abridged history of the Michigan education system. Back in 1993, Kalkaska Schools shut down two months too early. Former Governor John Engler’s administration used this scandal as an opportunity to change Michigan schools forever

Then, reporter Sophie Sagan interviews a second grade teacher about her experiences in the system.
