The First Holden Hall Residents return for a 58 year reunion
Some of the first students to ever reside in Holden Hall had a reunion with 13 of the original 50 residents of the second floor of Holden Hall in 1967. Paul Vigilanti and Lisa Parker are the two main reasons this group has been able to stay so close for so long. Both worked alongside or for the Alumni office at MSU, bringing people together with the shared MSU experience.
The Challenge MSU brings reality TV to life for a $1000 prize
Based on the MTV reality TV show, “The Challenge,” around 30 members compete in weekly tasks like a blind folded tennis ball hunt, jalepeño eating contest and tug of war on buckets. The challenges are meant to test competitors’ teamwork, dedication and humor. Every Wednesday, two students are eliminated until only one remains to take home $1,000 in cash.
Izzone campout returns, marking a new season of MSU Basketball
The Izzone campout marks the start of the 2025–26 men’s basketball season and the return of one of college basketball’s most electric student sections. Every fall, thousands of eager students wrestle with tent poles, meet members of the men’s and women’s basketball teams and find community through a shared love of MSU, all to take part in a storied tradition that’s lasted nearly as long as Izzo himself.
MSU Women’s soccer takes on the Ohio State buckeyes
In EAST LANSING – After a two-game road trip the Michigan State women’s soccer team returned home to take on the Ohio Stat Buckeyes. The Spartans and Buckeyes faced off last night and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
