No. 8 Michigan State Avoids Fourth Quarter Collapse at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Exactly one week after a chaotic near collapse in East Lansing versus Nebraska, Michigan State avoided a shocking upset at the hands of Purdue.

Against Nebraska, it took an interception by Trae Waynes in the Cornhuskers’ final drive to seal the deal for MSU. Spartans Survive Scare at Ross-Ade Stadium

WEST LAFAYETTE – In what appeared to be a deja-vu of Michigan State’s near collapse against Nebraska, the MSU defense was forced to stop Purdue in the final minutes, holding on to a one-possession lead for dear life.

MSU Leads Purdue 24-17 at Halftime

WEST LAFAYETTE – Connor Cook has connected with six different receivers in the first half at Purdue, throwing for 179 yards and two touchdowns. The No. 8 Spartans lead the Boilermakers 24-17 at halftime. Tony Lippett leads the way for receivers with five receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown, while Josiah Price added a touchdown of his own. Read More…

Women’s Soccer Parallels Men in Win

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Women’s soccer scored their fastest goal of the season Friday, after the men’s team broke the same record on Wednesday afternoon.
