Pistons’ Draft Potentials

With five games remaining in the regular season, the Pistons currently are the owners of the eighth worst record in the NBA. Unfortunately for Detroit, the NBA has a draft lottery where any of the teams that do not make the playoffs can move up the draft order or move down.

Detroit’s first-round pick is top-eight protected this season, meaning that if they get a pick in the top eight, they keep it. If it falls to ninth or lower, Detroit must give up the rights to their pick to the Charlotte Bobcats.

Spartans are Big Ten Tournament Champions

Early in the first half, Travis Trice hit a pull-up jumper and could be seen saying,

That is the way Michigan State made it look as they defeated the University of Michigan 69-55 Sunday afternoon.

Wolverines Overwhelm Michigan State

In a game that was truly a tale of two halves, the No. 20 Michigan Wolverines defeated No. 13 Michigan State 79-70 Sunday afternoon, to take full control of the top spot in the Big Ten.

The Spartans started off well, never trailing in the first half after Michigan led 4-2. MSU led by five in the closing seconds of the first half when Caris LeVert hit a three as time expired, to pull the Wolverines within two at the break.

Spartans Look to Take down Rivaled Wolverines in Weekend Showdown

The No. 13 Michigan State Spartans (22-5, 11-3) are headed to Ann Arbor, Mich. to battle against the rivaled No. 20 Michigan Wolverines (18-7, 10-3).

Not only is school pride on the line, but a chance at winning the conference title is on the line as well.

University of Michigan handed Michigan State its first loss in conference play Saturday night, defeating the Spartans 80-75.

Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo described himself as “crushed” after the loss, but seemed to be proud of his short-handed team.
