After winning the Big Ten championship last year, Michigan State’s field hockey team is looking to get back to where they left off.

When their season ended in early November, the team was given a two-month break and then it was back to work.

Despite losing five seniors to graduation, head coach Helen Knull is pleased with what she has seen from her team so far.

The Pact – #6 – 11/18/13

MSU Football clinched at least a share of the Big Ten Legends Division title on Saturday against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Quarterback Connor Cook and the Spartans finally defeated Nebraska, for their first win ever in the Boneyard.  The panel discusses the big win, MSU’s Big Ten title hopes, and the team’s strengths and weaknesses.

Spartans Head to Syracuse after Dominating Red Hawks

Michigan State hosted the Miami of Ohio Red Hawks this afternoon at Ralph Young Field and earned an NCAA bid. The Spartans shutout the Red Hawks 3-0, and will now travel to New York and play Syracuse this upcoming Saturday.

MSU fell to Miami earlier in the season losing 2-0, but turned the tables and dominated in all aspects of the field today. Spartans outshot the Red Hawks 21-6 and held Miami to zero shots in the first half.
