Illinois Outworks Spartans

It would appear that Michigan State has decided to take the weekend off for the past six weeks.

The Spartans dropped another head scratcher Saturday afternoon 53-46 to the University of Illinois.

Spartans Battle Back to Beat Hoosiers

Gary Harris proved Tuesday night why he is highly regarded as a top 10 pick in the NBA draft next year. Harris helped lead the Spartans to a 71-66 win against Indiana University.

Harris only had four points at halftime, but exploded in the second half, finishing the game with 24 points and five steals. Harris shot 8-13 from the floor and 4-6 from three point range. He did not miss a free throw.

Tar Heels Topple Michigan State

Michigan State suffered its first loss of the 2013-14 season Wednesday night at the hands of the North Carolina Tar Heels 79-65.

The Spartans were dominated from the start getting out rebounded once again, this time 49-38.
