Spartans Close Non-Conference Play

The Michigan State men’s tennis team (6-7) will complete their non-conference portion of the schedule this weekend in Louisville, Ky.

Louisville (12-4) is on a four game win streak and is ranked 32nd in the nation. The Cardinals have dominated over their four game span, sweeping three of the four matches.

Louisville’s last loss came on March 2 against the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman, Okla. The Cardinals have only lost two games at home this season.

Junior Michael Lippens leads the Cardinals with a 29-6 record in singles competition.

Van Damrongsri and Seb Stiefelmeyer have been the most productive doubles team for Louisville, winning 17 of 26 matches.

First serve is set for 12:00 p.m. tomorrow and live scoring will be available.

Michigan State is coming off a 6-1 win against Western Michigan at home. The Spartans are still searching for their first win away from East Lansing.
