Octopi Hockeytown returns again with a happier tone than last week. The Red Wings took seven of eight points from four games in the past week, and look as though they will be able to make a solid playoff run.

Gustav Nyquist has seven points on the week, scoring six goals and recording one assist with a +8 rating.

The return of Darren Helm, Jonas Gustavsson and Joakim Andersson, off of the injury list, made a major impact on the Red Wings’ lineup. Pavel Datsyuk expects to be back soon and has resumed skating after being shut down for three weeks.

Finally, Octopi will preview the week ahead pm which is the most important week to the Red Wings’ playoff run.
