Pepped Up at the Rose Bowl

PASADENA, Calif. – Even if it broke the bank, they traveled either way.

It was a rare occasion, for the Michigan State Spartan football team and its fans, to smell roses in Pasadena. The Spartans waited 26 years to make the Rose Bowl, and it was daunting.

But the spontaneity of the B1G Championship had no effect on Spartan faithful, as many students, alumni, and fans had their hearts set on the ‘grandaddy of them all’.
