Indoor track and field season is well underway and the Spartans are taking on the University of Michigan Wolverines this weekend.

In episode No. 1 of Last Leg, host Alexa McCarthy talks with MSU head coach Walt Drenth and student-athletes Kurt Schneider and Sara Kroll about the upcoming meet.

A rivalry week podcast would not be complete without a word from the competition and Alexa also talks to Michigan thrower Cody Riffle.

The Spartans will compete against the Wolverines on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.
