Five-star recruit Josh Jackson finally announced his decision tonight, selecting Kansas over Michigan State and Arizona. Jackson is the No. 3 overall recruit according to ESPN and No. 1 according to 247Sports.

Jackson was originally thought to be leaning toward the Spartans early in the recruitment process due to his friendship with MSU recruits Cassius Winston and Miles Bridges. His commitment to Michigan State would have vaulted Coach Izzo’s class to No. 1 in the nation with two five-star and two four-star recruits coming in next season.
Kansas already has one five-star recruit signed for 2016 in Udoka Azubuike and a four-star player in Mitch Lightfoot. Many mock drafts already are projecting Jackson to be a top-five pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
