Crew Club Closes Scheduling Gap by Picking Up the Cincinnati Regatta

After their home race, the State Cup in Lansing, was canceled, MSU Crew Club had a large gap in their schedule between their spring training trip that ended on March 8 and their next race, the Lubbers Cup which starts on April 12.

That has now changed, as the men’s rowing club picked up a race on Saturday, April 5 on Lake Besha in Bethel, Ohio.

The team will open their spring racing season at the Cincinnati Regatta this upcoming weekend.

The Regatta currently will be featuring 21 registered rowing clubs including Miami University, the University of Cincinnati, Vanderbilt and the University of Toledo.

The varsity eight will race at 9:40 a.m. and the two varsity fours will race at 1:30 p.m.
