Players such as Le’Veon Bell and Darqueze Dennard, who were both two-star recruits coming out of high school, developed into nationally recognized names during their time in East Lansing.

McDowell, a 6-foot-6, 292 pound defensive lineman from Southfield, Mich is a consensus five-star prospect and the highest rated recruit in the state of Michigan.

Craig Evans, a 6-foot-3, 305 pound defensive tackle from Sun Prairie, Wisc., was originally a Wisconsin commit, but announced his decision to flip to MSU on Twitter Monday night.
