Wings Frustrated with More Struggles and Injuries

The Detroit Red Wings faced off against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday evening. Tomas Tatar continued his hot streak with another goal that came early in the first period. And while the Red Wings were playing with poise throughout the first and second periods, the third was another story. Daniel Alfredsson returned back to Ottawa for the first time after being signed by the Red Wings in free agency this past summer. Xavier Ouellet Sent to Grand Rapids

Xavier Ouellet has officially played in the NHL and looks as though he needs to be developed a bit more, before he can wear his wing-wheeled sweater again.

Ouellet, a 6-foot-1 native of Bayonne, France,  weights in at 190 pounds and has the left-handed curve that is naturally brought into the Red Wings farm system. Ouellet has recorded three 40-point seasons, including recording 60 points in 63 games in his 2011-12 junior hockey season.
