It’s Michigan weekend for the swimming and diving team as they travel to Ann Arbor to take on the No. 2 men’s swim team in the country and the No. 20 women’s team. The women also travel to Toledo to end the regular season on Saturday. Hear from coaches Matt Gianiodis and Michael Hulme as well as senior Bryan Williams.
EAST LANSING, Mich. — It was an unusual senior day as Michigan State’s opponent, Denison University, was unable to travel due to inclement weather. The team made they most of what they had with an inter-squad meet.

The first taste of victory was had by the men’s swimming and diving team January 23 in East Lansing, defeating Oakland University 154-143 and it came down to the last event to determine who would win.
It was a rough weekend for Michigan State swimming and diving as the women’s team lost a close meet to Bowling Green Friday night in East Lansing 150-144, and both teams dropped the tri-meet at Eastern Michigan with Buffalo Saturday.

SOUTH BEND, IND.–A deeply talented Notre Dame swim and dive program held off the Spartans Friday night 197-103 at Rolfs Aquatic Center.
The Fighting Irish came out blazing as they placed first, second and third in the 200 medley relay, with the winning relay going 1:30.54.
Fast swimming was the theme Friday night at McCaffree Pool as the Michigan State women’s swimming and diving team defeated Grand Valley State 162-138, for their second-consecutive win. The men’s squad lost a close battle against the Lakers 166-134.
