After a slow first half, the Spartan defense continued to hold the Terrapins. Ed Davis lead the MSU defense with nine tackles and Kurtis Drummond and Darian Hicks came down with interceptions as well.

The Spartans improve to 8-2 on the season and 5-1 in the Big Ten.
