Noted as being one of the top shooters in Big Ten history, Lindsay Bowen takes our No. 2 spot on the list.

Bowen entered MSU in 2002 with many accomplishments already under her belt. She was named first team All-State by the Detroit News three times, the Detroit Free Press twice, captain of her softball team senior year, and a national society member who graduated eighth in her class. It was only right that she continue this practice of greatness while at Michigan State.

During her time at MSU, Bowen became Michigan State’s all-time leader in three-pointers with 294 made. She also earned All-Big Ten honors all four years, tied for fifth in the Big Ten history books for three-point field-goal percentage (40.1), earned second at MSU for all-time scoring with 1,739 points and started every game of her career at MSU (131 games). Bowen also participated in the WBCA All-Star challenge game.

After finishing her career as a Spartan in 2006, Bowen went on to play for the New York Liberty in 2007 and continued to play in Europe until 2010.  In August of 2012, she joined Texas Tech’s staff as a video coordinator.

Bowen’s accomplishments in both MSU history and Big Ten history have made her an influential person in women’s basketball.
