Hockey lands Another Verbal Commit for 2015

Michigan State has landed another verbal commitment for the 2015-16 season.

Brennan Sanford of the Cedar Rapids Roughriders who play in the USHL has committed to play for the green and white next season.

Sanford was acquired by the Roughriders from the Austin Bruins of the NAHL.

During Sanford’s 29 games with the Bruins, he accumulated 10 goals and eight assists. However, his jump to the USHL came with some difficulty as Sanford was only able to contribute three goals and four assists for the Roughriders.

Sanford is a native of Holt, Mich. and the fourth verbal commitment for the Spartans next season.
