Michigan State Stumbles against Minnesota

The Michigan State men’s tennis team lost their last away game of the season 5-2 to Minnesota, bringing their road record to 1-11.

The Spartans (9-13, 3-6) split their weekend series against Minnesota and Wisconsin. Michigan State will close the regular season portion of their schedule this upcoming weekend.

Minnesota won the doubles point after winning two of the three matches. The doubles team of Aaron Pfister/Brett Forman did win their match on court three.

The Pfister-Forman duo is 9-7 on the season and is on a three-game doubles win streak.

Michigan State won two of the six singles matches, Gijs Linders and John Patrick Mullane picked up the wins for the Spartans.

The Spartans return to the friendly confines of East Lansing on Friday to take on Purdue, where they are 8-1 on the season.
