Spartans Prepare to Take on Fighting Irish

The Spartans will travel to South Bend, Ind. to play a single mid-week game against the Fighting Irish on Wednesday.
This will be MSU’s first non-conference game in two weeks. Notre Dame is coming off of an 11-4 win against Ball State.
Freshman Kassidy Kujawa will be a player to watch after leading MSU in hits in the series against Purdue this past weekend. She went 3-for-6 with a double.
Alyssa McBride has the team’s longest active hitting streak (five games) and went 3-for-7 with 2 RBI’s against Purdue.
The game will be held at Melissa Cook Stadium at 2:30 p.m.
MSU’s current record is 8-20 and Notre Dame is 20-7.
MSU trails Notre Dame in the all time series 7-1.
