Pistons Weekly Recap: January 28- February 1

The Detroit Pistons looked to end their four-game losing streak Tuesday night when they hosted the Orlando Magic.

Detroit completely outplayed the Magic, outscoring them by 12 points in the second quarter and eight points in the third.

Andre Drummond led the Pistons, scoring 13 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Brandon Jennings also had a solid game for Detroit, scoring 20 points and dishing out eight assists.

The Pistons won the game 103-87, moving them to 18-27 on the season.

Next for Detroit was a scheduled game against the Atlanta Hawks. However, due to extreme weather, the game was postponed.

Finally, Saturday night the Pistons came back home to go up against the Philadelphia 76ers. Detroit looked solid again, winning the game 113-96.

Drummond had another exceptional game, scoring 22 points and collecting 14 rebounds. Kyle Singler also had a solid outing, coming off the bench to score 20 points and grab 10 rebounds in 35 minutes.

With the win against Philadelphia, Detroit is now on a two-game winning streak.

The team’s next challenge comes in Florida when they take on the Miami Heat Monday night. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m and can be seen on Fox Sports Detroit.
