Spartans Win Tune-Up

Michigan State won their first regular season game of the 2013 season 98-56 against McNeese State University.

The Spartans got off to a slow start in the first half with McNeese St. briefly leading in the first four minutes of the half. Michigan State’s offense started working when the team started scoring on transition. They scored 40 fast break points in the game. Read More…

Opinion: Why You Should Be A Michigan Fan This Weekend…Temporarily

Rivalry between Michigan and Michigan State is always very heated, and things came to a head last Saturday as the in-state rivals matched up in East Lansing.

Much to the chagrin of the maize and blue fans, it came up all Spartans Saturday afternoon, as the Michigan State defense paced the team to a resounding 29-6 victory.

Women’s Swim and Dive Beats Grand Valley, Men Fall Short

Fast swimming was the theme Friday night at McCaffree Pool as the Michigan State women’s swimming and diving team defeated Grand Valley State 162-138, for their second-consecutive win. The men’s squad lost a close battle against the Lakers 166-134.
