Tonight on Exposure, we kick off our new series of shows. On tonights episode, we focus on all things health while exploring the college student’s life style. Abbie talks with Ronda Bokram, a nutritionist from Olin Health Center, Janice Schwartz with the MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in the Detroit Medical Center and Rick McNeil, the director of IM facilities at MSU. We also hear from various students about topics such as working out, drinking habits and stress. Lastly, Impact reporter Steven Rich gives us an insight into a day in the life of a “normal” college student.
On the show today we got to talk to Basement vets Wayne Szalinski and newcomers Newday Dreamers about their upcoming show at Macs Bar, this Saturday, Feb 1st, and a whole lot more. Newday Dreamers even played some acoustic stuff live in the station. I did manage to squeeze a few songs in though, but the playlist was short.
Impact’s Steven Rich explores what its like to be a college student. Between classes, work, homework, eating, sleeping, exercising, drinking and engaging in weekend activities, Steven gives us an idea of a typical week at Michigan State.
Pretty appropriate for today’s Jam of the Day, right? MSU may be the only university in the northern United States right now. Bundle up for your walk to class and listen to this ambient electronic track from this Scottish duo’s most recent album, Tomorrow’s Harvest. Stay warm, Spartans!
