Had a great time interviewing both Mark D Beats, and The Funk Munks today, we talked about all kinds of great things like Settlers of Catan, and food. Both bands are going to be playing at Macs Bar on Sunday February 23rd! doors open at 8pm. Today’s Jam of the Day comes from our Michigan Artist Spotlight, Gifts or Creatures. This one is off of their most recent album, Yesteryear Western Darkness, which dropped in September of last year.
There is a restaurant nestled in the outskirts of Old Town Lansing known to many. Although small, Golden Harvest is certainly a breakfast destination. To enjoy the unique food, eclectic culture and fun spirits inside however, one must wait. Impact’s Gabriela Saldivia brings us this waiting experience.
Brandon and Bethany Foote of Gifts or Creatures sit down with us and talk about song writing, album art, and telling stories through music. Gifts or Creatures is a Lansing based folk band featuring MSU alumni Ryan Frietas on the bass, and percussionist Ty Forquer.
