Tokyo Police Club – Forcefield

Tokyo Police Club is a band that brings the flood of memories from those middle school and high school years. Gone are the days of the 3Oh!3 band tees and of the people name-dropping bands like The Maine, All Time Low, and Forever the Sickest Kids just to seem like they were “cool.” Since those adolescent years Tokyo Police Club has been somewhat absent in the music world, with the exception of the early release of their single “Hot Tonight”, and the new release of this new album Forcefield, these two motions have been the newest movements from this band since their last album dropped in 2010.

Operation Freefall sheds light on sexual assault

People usually go sky-diving to experience the thrill and cross it off the bucket list. But, in 2001 a woman named Kelly Greene used skydiving as a tool to empower and overcome her past. She was sexually assaulted, but instead of fearing the anniversary of the assault, she decided to overcome another fear of hers: heights. Now, Michigan State University’s Sexual Assault Intervention Team is joining the initiative. Volunteers are raising money and some will even be jumping from an airplane. Exposure Director Abbie Newton talks with MSU psychology student Brianna Jecmen about the Intervention Team and Operation Freefall. For more information on how to make donations, click here.
