Michigan State was surprisingly upbeat at practice this week despite snowy weather and coming off three losses to two historically elite programs. The Spartans displayed they could hit pitching that got up to 97 mph at some points and throw against some of the best hitters in the ACC and SEC. MSU continues to roll as an offense, sitting at a .312 team average, but pitching, which was supposed to be the go-to, has room for improvement as some starters have ERA’s well up over 5.00.
