Today on Exposure, host Abbie Newton talks to two Michigan State professors about their research. First, Professor Scott Imberman in the Department of Economics speaks about the significance of the spillover effect of bilingual education. Then professor Bruno Basso from the Department of Geological Studies discusses the importance and usage of MSU’s first unmanned drone. Abbie takes a step outside the studio to talk to Tim Dempsey, East Lansing Planning & Community Development Director, about the city’s proposal to limit the number of seats served alcohol downtown after 12 a.m. Exposure welcomes Old Town Blues Fest Coordinator Ty Liggons to the studio to speak about the 9th year of the festival. Matchette & Frog, a band that will be featured at Blues Fest, also visited the studio. Lastly, we highlight MS80, a band of local high school students that will play at The Loft this weekend.
