Common Ground Brings Back MSU Memories for Big Sean

He started off the night with his love for Lansing and Detroit. Later, he exclaimed his love for Michigan State University.

For Sean Anderson, otherwise known as “Big Sean,” Common Ground in Lansing was his homecoming. He cherished all of the moments and people attending the concert.

I pre-ordered this record without even hearing it because, 1. I was pretty fond of the album art and 2. It’s THEE OH SEES.  Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest.  John Dwyer is basically the reason I keep living.  He turned 39 this year and is still the master of all that is psych-rock.

Krause and Van Poppelen lead women’s soccer to victory

The Michigan State women’s soccer team improved to 2-0 after earning a 5-2 victory over Milwaukee, September 1, in East Lansing.

The MSU offense was led by sophomore forwards Rachel Van Poppelen and Allyson Krause. Van Poppelen gave the Spartans an early lead in the ninth minute when she scored the game’s first goal off a ball served from junior Lisa Vogel.
