UK’s indie rock darlings Little Comets are back with their sophomore release Life Is Elsewhere. The boisterous vocals are alone enough to encourage a listen, not to mention the dance-filled instrumentation that moves the album along effortlessly. Chock full of blissful romps and moody jams a la Foals’ more recent work (see “Western Boy” or “Violence Out Tonight”), the album pulses along, establishing an emotional sequence not seen on most generic indie rock albums. Little Comets – One Night In October

British rockers Little Comets provide the energy of pop-punk with the warm, fuzzy feeling of indie rock, allowing for an attitude of relaxing excitement throughout both their albums. Recently signed to Columbia Records, they’ve been able to tour in support of Hockey among others and appearing in a British television advertisement. A band still in its infancy, be sure to keep your eye out for Little Comets. We think they’ll be hitting it big pretty soon.
