Cocorosie is a tale of two sisters, separated and reunited by the power of music. Their definition of music may, however, be a little looser than most people’s. The sisters started off playing as a two-piece, using children’s toys, noisemakers, and other various objects to set a harsh, obtrusive percussion style complemented with beautifully crafted guitar, harp, and electronic melodies. Though they have matured their sound after four album (sorta), they still maintain their eccentric style, odd song structures, and haunting(ly beautiful) vocals.
