BANG! YOUR! HEAD!!!
Are you ready to bang your head for 4 hours?
If you’re expecting your typical metal show, you’re looking at the wrong show. We’ll play what satellite radio won’t. Playing the heaviest metal from the 70’s all the way to the most obscure modern metal ranging from Bay City Thrash all the way to Scandinavian Black Metal. We don’t leave hardcore out either; anything from Black Flag and Minor Threat all the way to modern bands like Integrity, Converge, Vaccine and Xibalba will find their way on the airwaves.
The uninitiated metal can be known to have been started during the time of Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. This transitioned into what is known as the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, featuring bands such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. This influenced Thrash Metal, which in turn influenced Death and Black Metal. Every new metal genre searches for a heavier and more aggressive sound. We aim to get the full spectrum for you.
From its existence starting in the 90s, Thee Hourz O Power, Lansing’s premier metal show, has consistently delivered heavy music and always will!
