This week, both state representative Jeff Irwin and Jeff Hank of the Coalition for a Safer Lansing call in calls in to discuss the topic of decriminalizing the use of marijuana in Michigan. Later, Ben Duke of the 4th Culture Studios joins Berl in-studio and we listen to an interview with state representatives Andy Schor and Sam Singh.

Exposure 4/23/13

Tonight is host Abbie Newton’s last Exposure show for the spring semester but not to worry she will be back in the fall. To kick off her last show, Abbie interviews an MSU professor about Chasing Ice, a documentary on climate change that is coming to MSU. The president of the Associated Students of Michigan State University discusses the organization’s current situation. Impact’s Will Mianecki reports on Campus to Coast. We celebrate Earth Day by focusing on Kirk Heinze’s Greening of the Great Lakes conversations.  Kirk chats with Rolling Stones keyboard player and conservationist Chuck Leavell, agriculture advocate and MSU Trustee Dianne Byrum, and Chasing Ice director Jeff Orlowski.  Then we hear about one of the planet’s largest Earth Day events, the MI Earth Day Fest, coming to downtown Rochester Michigan April 26-28.
