The East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz Festival Coordinator, Benjamin Hall, and Education Stage Intern Linnea Jimison talk about this weekend’s festival. Later, international Jazz artist Cyrille Aimee comes on the show and shares her story and her jazz music. To end the show, Abbie taste tests the Signature Smoked Cheddar Cheeseburger from the Michigan State University Eat at State Food Truck and she talks to Paul Starr about Lansing Beer Week, which is from June 23 to June 29.

Festival Director Benjamin Hall, bass player and Art Director Rodney Whitaker, jazz singer Mardra Thomas, writer for City Pulse Larry Cosentino, and Lois Mummaw of the Jazz festival. Also on the show Ody Norkin, V.P. of the Michigan Flyer and David Pole bring up a grant to be reconsidered for expanding the Michigan Flyer and its reach.
