Journal demonstrates the power of handwriting, serenity

In this day and age, people find themselves communicating more and more through the use of technology. Khalid Ibrahim started to realize this fact and decided to do a little experiment to understand the power of handwritten communication. He purchased a journal, wrote in it for seven days, then passed it on to a friend. The journal was passed on in similar fashion for one year. WDBM’s Abbie Newton explores the impact of the journal and of the power of the pen.

Journal project demonstrates the power of the pen

Khalid Ibrahim decided to buy a journal in January of 2012. He wrote in it for 7 days then passed it on to a friend. The friend wrote in it for 7 days and passed it on once more. This routine continued for one year before Khalid was reunited with the journal. The journal was filled with entries that conveyed emotion, ideas and thoughts. Khalid visited Exposure to talk about this unique project.
