5K to benefit Ronald McDonald House

On March 22, the Ronald McDonald House will be hosting a “Run for the House 5K.” The event will raise funds for the house, which is in Lansing and serves families of children being hospitalized. Exposure host Abbie Newton spoke with MSU student and Piper and Gold interns Beau Hayhoe and Sydney DeLage about the run.

Thrift Store Gala coming to Reo Town

Reo Town is nestled just outside of Lansing. It used to be home to the R.E. Olds Motor Company and has maintained its distinct identity ever since. Its dynamic culture is rich in the arts, with a collection of diverse restaurants and retail. On March 29, it will be rich in Burlesque at the 1st Annual Reo Town Thrift Store Gala and Burlesque Extravaganza. Exposure host Abbie Newton spoke with Reo Town Commercial Association President Ryan Wert about this unique event.

Michigan State University senior Victoria Bujny took her education beyond the classroom when she, Caitlin McDonald and Ashley Brimley started their own business: Folyo. Smartphone usage at night decreases energy levels the next day

Michigan State University professor in the Department of Management Russell Johnson studied the impacts of using smartphones at night. He and his colleagues found that smartphone usage before bed can actually decrease energy levels the next day. Impact’s Abbie Newton spoke with Johnson on Exposure on Feb. 25.
