Straight out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Fur Trade make the kind of unexpectedly warm and sensible indie rock that one can never have too much of. Reminiscent of a cross between Kaiser Chiefs, Vampire Weekend, and The Bravery, smooth guitar lines mix with straight-forward drums under the scratchy-yet-comfortable blanket that is the vocals of Hot Hot Heat singer Steve Bays.
