Los Angeles’ Pepper Rabbit was a band that unfortunately never garnered much fame. This struggle culminated with the break-up of the two-piece in early 2012. Despite the break-up, their music has been getting increasingly popular and still deserves attention. The laid-back, psych-folk the band puts forth is enough to make any hippie weak at the knees. With a slow, yet driving and melancholy, yet hopeful sound, Pepper Rabbit is great whether your feeling depressed or optimistic. Check out the track “Lake House” off their album Red Velvet Snowball below.
