Progressive Rock band Closure In Moscow formed in 2006 in Melbourne, Australia. Described as a “catchy, yet melodic brand of progressive, avant-garde rock,” the band creates a heavy-sounding, quickly-paced sound often compared to early Saosin, Chiodos, or Coheed and Cambria. The band has been touted for their technical and complex guitar and drums work, with vocals flowing airily overhead. With only one EP and one album under their belt (another is expected later this year), Closure In Moscow have nowhere to go but up. Check out their song “Kissing Families” off their 2009 album First Temple below.
