Impact 89FM is proud to announce Eric Walters and Eric Schendel as the DJ and Volunteer of the month of March!

The vertically superior Eric Schendel is our Volunteer of the month. He is a mechanical engineering student from Canton, MI. Eric S. hopes to one day continue to work for the internet (a.k.a Google). But before he leaves us we can continue to enjoy him on air from 8-10 am on Tuesdays and

mastering his editing chops in Impact promo production! We could not do what we do without this awesomely tall man! Thanks again, Eric!

Eric Walters is our host of the folk specialty show Torch and Twang. He started at the Impact after a former Impacter asked if anyone would be interested in hosting this program at a Frontier Ruckus concert. Eric hopes that his time and the station will allow him to break into the music journalism world after graduation. It helps that he has a dog named Johnny Cash, but that’s just our opinion. Eric’s spirit animal is a polar bear. We couldn’t BEAR the thought of another DJ at the helm of Torch and Twang! Here is Eric’s folk BLOG.
