Four-star prospect Kobe Bufkin is set to make his college decision Friday. The all-state Grand Rapids Christian guard has named Michigan State amongst his top five choices. The other contenders include DePaul, Louisiana State, Michigan and Ohio State.

Bufkin is listed at 6-foot-4 and 175 pounds. He is ranked as the No. 78 overall prospect in his class, the No. 15 overall shooting guard and No. 3 overall in Michigan according to 247Sports. He is expected to stay in-state with either Michigan State or Michigan.

The news comes amidst the Spartans landing another five-star recruit in Max Christie, who joins an already impressive 2021 class alongside five-star forward and No. 1 overall prospect Emoni Bates.
