The Pact – #49 – 9/22/14

Locally, it has been a successful weekend for the state of Michigan overall as Michigan State football dominated, the Detroit Lions finally found a way past the division foe Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Tigers looked headed to the playoffs with the return of a top pitcher.

After Saturday’s 73-14 victory for Michigan State football over Eastern Michigan, the panel looks to find the negatives in the Spartans’ dominating performance and if the offense or defense impressed them more?

The Lions’ defense made a statement and Detroit positioned themselves for a chance at the division title with a 19-7 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field on Sunday.

Who were the panelists impressed with? Were you impressed by the Lions’ performance or disappointed by the Packers’?

With only a single-game lead over the Kansas City Royals in the A.L. Central, the Detroit Tigers began a division game against the Chicago White Sox.

Are the playoffs a lock for Detroit? Will they make it to October as a Wild Card or as division champion? What does the return of Anibal Sanchez mean for this Tigers club?
