EAST LANSING – After deciding to not enter the 2022 NFL draft last season, redshirt senior wide receiver Jayden Reed has declared for the 2023 NFL draft.

On Sunday, Nov. 27, Reed took to Instagram to give thanks and shared his decision to enter the draft.

“I am extremely blessed to announce that I will be entering the 2023 draft to accomplish lifelong goals,” Reed said.

Reed was named a first-team All-American after an impressive 2021 season where he recorded 1,026 receiving yards and scored 13 touchdowns.

Had Reed entered the 2022 draft, many scouts had him projected as a first or second round pick in a talented wide receiver class. Although Reed is returning to the draft a year older, his ability still resides and could assist him in bettering his draft position.
