On today’s episode of Impact Sports Daily, Matt Merrifield, Jacob Phillips and Jay DeCoster recap the Cowboys 27-17 win over the Saints, offer their predictions for this weekend’s conference championship games and who makes the College Football Playoff and more!
Matt (he/him) is a Journalism and Public Relations & Policy major. He is a cohost of the Green and White Report, joined Impact in the fall of ‘21 during his freshmen year, and has covered every sport on campus.
Jacob is a senior journalism and English major currently covering Hockey for the Impact. Jacob has previously covered volleyball and baseball. He is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia and his favorite sport is football.
Jay is a senior studying Mediated Communications at Michigan State. He joined Impact in September of 2021 as a volunteer. Jay is the Michigan State Football & women's soccer beat reporter for the Impact sports department. His interests include supporting his favorite Chicago sports teams, and golfing in the summer.
